Say it perfectly, in the kitchen's language.

Explaining onion powder to a busy waiter abroad is where good intentions go to die. Pick a language, show your phone — or print the card for your wallet. The kitchen gets exactly what to leave out and what works instead. And for the moment nobody plans for: an urgent restroom card that asks for help in two seconds flat, in the same seven languages.

A note for the kitchen

I have a food intolerance and get quite unwell from certain ingredients — most importantly onion and garlic in any form, including powders, stocks, and sauce bases.

I also do best avoiding: wheat-based bread or pasta in large amounts, milk, cream and soft cheese, honey, mushrooms, and cauliflower.

Plainly grilled meat or fish, rice, potatoes, salad with oil and lemon, and hard cheeses are all perfect for me.

Could you point me to a dish that works, or prepare something simply without those ingredients?

Thank you so much — it genuinely makes my evening.
