Is Bai Antioxidant Infusion low FODMAP?

FODMAP score

64

Moderate

Bai is not the safe bet its 1-gram-of-sugar label suggests: nearly all of its sweetness comes from erythritol, at roughly 10 grams per 18 oz bottle. Erythritol is the best-tolerated sugar alcohol, but a dose this size may cause bloating, gurgling, or a laxative-type effect in sensitive drinkers. The fruit juice concentrate is a non-issue at about 1 gram of sugar per bottle.

What's inside

Erythritol (~10 g per bottle)The second ingredient after water and the entire verdict driver — a polyol at a genuinely large dose that resists absorption and pulls water into the gut.
Fruit juice concentrateSounds risky but contributes only about 1 gram of sugar per bottle, a negligible fructose load.
Stevia leaf extractA non-fermentable plant sweetener with no FODMAP content.
Tea and coffeefruit extractsSupply antioxidants and a modest caffeine bump; no fermentable carbohydrates.

📏 A full 18 oz bottle delivers the whole ~10 g erythritol dose at once; splitting the bottle across the day keeps the polyol load in better-tolerated territory.
