Is Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayo low FODMAP?

FODMAP score

8

Low FODMAP

Yes — this is one of the easiest condiments on the shelf. The entire list is avocado oil, organic eggs and egg yolks, organic vinegar, sea salt, and rosemary extract: fat, protein, and acid with essentially no fermentable carbohydrate anywhere in the jar. There is no garlic, onion, honey, or sweetener to worry about, which is not true of many flavored mayos and aiolis.

What's inside

Avocado oilPure pressed fat — the sorbitol found in avocado flesh does not carry into the oil.
Organic eggs and egg yolksProtein and fat with zero fermentable carbs.
Organic vinegarDistilled vinegar is low FODMAP at condiment quantities.
Rosemary extractA trace-level antioxidant used to keep the oil fresh, not a fermentable ingredient.

📏 One serving is 1 tablespoon (about 12 g) — and even a generous few tablespoons adds fat, not fermentable carbs, so portion size is not the concern here.

Gentler alternatives

Duke's Real MayonnaiseA classic budget mayo that is also free of garlic, onion, and added sweetener triggers.
