Is Olipop Prebiotic Soda (all flavors) low FODMAP?

FODMAP score

88

High FODMAP

No — Olipop is not low FODMAP, and it's not close. Every flavor is built on the OLISMART blend, which stacks chicory root inulin and Jerusalem artichoke inulin — two of the most concentrated fructan sources you can put in a can — on top of cassava root fiber, and many flavors add apple juice concentrate for sweetness. That's roughly 9 g of mostly rapid-fermenting fiber per can, which is exactly the load a low FODMAP approach is designed to avoid.

What's inside

Chicory root inulinA concentrated fructan — the classic fast-fermenting prebiotic fiber that a low FODMAP diet restricts.
Jerusalem artichoke inulinA second inulin source stacked on top of the chicory, compounding the fructan dose per can.
Apple juice concentrateUsed as a sweetener in many flavors; apple juice carries excess fructose beyond what glucose helps absorb.
Cassava root fiber & syrupA resistant-dextrin fiber that's gentler than inulin but still adds to the total fermentable load.
Stevia leafSteviol glycosides are not sugar alcohols and are not a FODMAP concern.

📏 One 12 oz can delivers about 9 g of fiber, most of it inulin-family fructans — a large dose to take in a single sitting.

Gentler alternatives

ZeviaStevia-sweetened soda with no inulin, no added fiber, and no fructose-heavy juice.

SpindriftJust sparkling water plus a small splash of real fruit juice — soda-adjacent without the fiber blend.

Plain seltzer with fresh limeZero fermentable carbs; the citrus gives the soda feel without any inulin.
