Is Ripple Pea Milk low FODMAP?

FODMAP score

18

Low FODMAP

Yes — Ripple is built on pea protein isolate (Ripptein), and the isolation process leaves behind the fermentable GOS that makes whole peas gassy, so the protein itself contributes essentially no FODMAP load. The Original variety is sweetened with plain cane sugar (sucrose), which is low FODMAP, and the Unsweetened version skips sugar entirely. Everything else in the carton is oil, minerals, and trace stabilizer gums.

What's inside

Pea protein (Ripptein)A protein isolate — the GOS that makes whole peas hard on sensitive guts is removed during processing.
Cane sugar (Original variety)Plain sucrose, about 6 g per cup, is low FODMAP; the Unsweetened version omits it.
Sunflower oil and algal oilFats carry no fermentable carbohydrates.
Organic guar gum and gellan gumFine at the trace stabilizer levels used here, though large amounts of gums can be loosening for some people.
Dipotassium phosphate and calcium phosphateFortification and stability minerals with no FODMAP content.

📏 A full 8 oz glass of either Original or Unsweetened stays low FODMAP — the protein is isolated away from the peas' fermentable carbs, so portion size isn't the concern it is with oat milk.
